Vag com

I have only recently bought my 2000 plate cupra. It has recently been running in limp mode. The seller included a cable for vag com, but i need the correct software. Can anyone tell me what version to get and where from. Just need fault code reading . Thanks

hi if you go onto www.ross-tech.com and go on the download bit you can download version 408.1 of vag com from there.

You might be better with 311, 408.1 doesn't always work if it's not a proper lead.

the biggest problem you will have is finding the cable driver if he hasn't given you the disc.
