nice mate all you need now is a bit of polish under the bonet;)

To be honest, i had been eyeing up those polished charge pipes that a few people seem to have. One of the members on here does them but i cant remember his name.

But like i said before, mods need to be put on hold for while now. I wasnt supposed to be remapping it just yet and i go on holiday in about 9 weeks! :p

At the same time as fitting the poly bushes, i fitted a 3" cold air feed to the airbox.

The feed runs from the airbox, down the side of the wing, and sits in the hole where the fog light use to live. :D

The old airfeed that barely ran to the front of the engine bay!:

As above looks good and don't think anyone else has used this run.
You steering wheel looks like a hybrid between an R32 and a 225 LCR. But not 100% the same as either.

I'll be honest jamjay, my mate did most of the work  , so im not sure what happened with that corner peice. I say break it off anyway!! :D

As you can see in one of the pics, the feed runs between the SMIC and the arch.

The way we did it was to attatch the feed to the foglight hole using gaffa tape, then pull it up the side of the arch and up to the airbox. My feed is 1 meter long and is just the right length.

Remove the plastic inner arch and it is alot clearer where the feed is going to go.
Its also alot easier if you unclip the plastic grill peice that houses the fog light. It basically just pushes out from the back.

Really??

I originally thought it looked slightly different to 225 ones that id seen but i just put that down to the fact that i'd never seen a brand new one before.

Not got a close up of the bumper mate, sorry. To be honest i'd not even noticed this! Is it not normally like that?

Behind the fog lights is normally painted black at the factory, looks like you've had a new front bumper at some point and they just sprayed the whole thing flash red

when you had the cold air feed put in did you remove the ducting that channels the air to the IC?

No i dont think so, the only ducting that was removed is shown in the pic.

ahh ok, that makes sense then, lol

reason I ask about the ducting is I think there are two additional bits of ducting that fix to the bumper at either side to force air into the IC's. Just wondering how they are attached.

If you ever switch to a FMIC might worth keeping these so you put a big cold air feed straight on the back, you can put your fog light back in then as well
