Hey guys!
Just bought myself a 2011 Leon Cupra R in Sprint blue =)
Figured i should share how i did when fixing my damaged Wheels.
Anyway, the previous owner wasn´t that good at parking on the street, so the wheels was damaged.
Here is some of the damage:
So, i figured i could just fix it myself at low cost but still get a good result.
After a thorough cleaning with various degreasers, acids and other deadly things, i filled the damaged areas with chemical metal.
Then i sanded it down to a smooth Surface, and finished it of sanding the whole wheel with 400 grit sandpaper.
When done, i sprayed them with 1K (1 Component) filler/primer.
When it had dried completely, i sprayed the wheels with 2K paint. RAL 9011, graphite black.
The result!
So, what do you think? Have i ruined the wheels or is it acceptable?
