Gave the car a good 3-4 hour clean on Saturday morning due to the excessive mileage I have been doing past 2 weeks.

I cleaned
1) Body work
2) All door shuts
3) Interior seats
4) Interior Plastics
5) Treated exterior plastics and tyres
6) Sealant (Red Mist) Applied to body work
7) Machine polished the face of the alloys
8) Autoglym SRP Polish on the alloys.

Slick popped round in the afternoon and had his camera with him so took some pictures. Came out pretty nice.

Unfortunately not due to time and money constraints. Slick has a design all CAD up and ready to go however.

Apparently SFS are still trailing the ones they made...

Rear Brake Upgrade
------

Picked myself up 1.8T 225 Audi TT rear calipers and carriers for a nice price. Should tie in well as the rears need replacing soon.

DK: need to borrow your red paint :)

Are you planning on running 280mm discs?
As you can with these calipers and carriers fitted.
You do know the Leon discs won't fit now, you will need to buy TT ones

Yea, unclefester told me that they had to be TT discs when he had his Leon.

I had no idea you can run bigger discs? On the same carrier? Is there a link where I can read up on it?

Nice one

Knowing Maz, the 256's will not be big enough.
Assuming you can get 280mm discs then why not. :)

Daveb off of here was doing a set up for these calipers and carriers.
I almost went for it but didn't commit, give him a shout and see what he can do for you

Its been on the To Do list for a while but always missed/passed the opportunities to get it done until now. Audi TT ones are exactly the same bar the caliper carrier is ever so slightly different. You need a 6mm spacer and longer bolts for it to fit. Its making me think whether its worth the trouble but the price is good for £150.

I am glad it does make a difference. I never really thought I needed better rear brakes as the ATEs are very very strong but if it helps keep the nose that little more composed when heavy breaking then its worth it.
