Excelent! Do you have any recommended value for those setting?

I also have other topic asking for help in oem DCC shock absorbers tuning. Do you know if it is possible to increase the rebound setting by 10-20%?

Thanks!

For OBD11 The following settings are show

Expanded XDS electronic differential lock
We may change the way it works, you can choose between several values in a way that best suits our driving.
1 - Module 03 - Electronic brake. Code (40168/20103)
2 - Adaptation
3 - Select - Electronic Differential Lock Expanded
4 - Activate one of the five options:
- Standard (default)
- Central
- Not activated
- Weak
- Strong

Personally i have this set to Strong

If you are looking at changes setting have you also looked at the following http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showpost.php?p=4727866&postcount=43

And here are a couple other tweaks you can apply that may be of interest.

ESP depending on the speed
Applying this modification can activate the ESP function acting on the speed that take the vehicle or the value is always fixed.
1 - Module 03 - Electronic brake. Code (40168/20103)
2 - Adaptation
3 - Select - Electronic Stability Program
4 - Select one of the two options:
- Activation function of speed
- Not enabled (default)
- Activated

ESP multimode
Applying this modification can have multiple ESP and ASR options depending on how we program.
1 - Module 03 - Electronic brake. Code (40168/20103)
2 - Extended Coding (byte mode)
3 - Byte 29
4 - Bits 0.1 and 2 Activated shows: Activated - ASR disabled - ESP off.
5 - Bit 1 Enabled shows: Activated - ASR deactivated
5 - Bit 2 On shows: Activated - ESC disabled
6 - Bits 1 and 2 shows Activated: Activated - Sport ESC - ESC disabled
7 - Bits 0 and 3 On displays: - On - ASR disabled - ESC Sport.

Disable ESP and ASR
With this modification permanently dasactiva the ESP. I do not recommend it, I do not like.
1 - Module 03 - Electronic brake. Code (40168/20103)
2 - Basic Settings
3 - Select - Deactivation ESP and ASR
4 - Select one of the two options:
- Not enabled (default)
- Activated

The xds setting most agressiva is strong? What means the central setting? Will driving profile normal and cupra for differential settings still work? Both profiles will be more aggressive?

Did it a long time ago so don't recall, What I normally do is set it to one setting and drive it like I do normally then change it and see if there is any discernible difference. Once I have found the best setting i stick with that.

Maybe somebody else can confirm what the other settings do (or even the web).

I thought the diff on the Cupra was a VAQ unit over and above XDS, which used the braking system to control wheelspin?

Thanks very much for this raflo83, It looks like these are in obd11 also I will give the following a try

Control Unit 32 Lock Electronics
Adaptations
Acoustic measure, wiring logic
Currently set to Standard - Will change to increased Traction

Then run the Basic Settings process (which i will check out before i do it)

-- checked the Basic Settings Process with the OBD Forum and all done fine now. Very happy with the change.

Control Unit 03 Breaks
Adaptations
Straight ahead brake stabilization
Currently set to Activated - will change to not activated to see what the difference feels like.

To reinvigorate an old topic, did you find out if you can change any of the VAQ differential settings or was it just XDS plus? I've seen it suggested that on the Cupra the setting are already set to strong? :)

Yep, it's in the post above,

Control Unit 32 Lock Electronics
Adaptations
Acoustic measure, wiring logic
Currently set to Standard - Will change to increased Traction

However, my car was built October 2017 and that option is there to change, I've tried it on 2 2018 build cars and the option to change that setting is nowhere to be found!

Also to add, I felt zero difference when changing the diff to "increased traction"

Thanks, by the sounds of it, nothing I need to rush to try!
