Seems to work for unclogging variable vane turbos.

However, I've tried and failed to remove my EGR valve [:@], let alone the whole inlet manifold, so think I'm gonna have to go the Terraclean route & see if that works.

It deffo works!! How isn't your egr coming off?? 3 Allen bolts seized?? If so spray them with some plusgas/wd40 then try tightening further to crack rust then go and have a cuppa. They will come off then!!!
Terraclean costs a fortune doesn't it?? This is only £10!!
Shame your in Aberdeen pal, I'd have helped you to do it its so simple it's unreal, the difference is immense I'd still look at removing your egr for a clean and a blanking plate, you could spend all that money on terraclean and the egr will still get dirty down the line.
You won't need to remove inlet manifold to do mr muscle, I'm just going to down the line as I know if my egr was stinking dirty, my inlet surely will be!!

Rust isn't a problem, it's access to the bl**dy bolts that got me! After spending 45 minutes skinning my knuckles to get the three bolts fixing the EGR to the inlet manifold off, I then realised I hadn't got a hope of getting the bolts underneath the EGR (attaching the pipe from the exhaust) off as there was absolutely no room between the front bolt and the cam cover, so had to put the whole lot back together again.

F**king nightmare![:@]

Mr muscle and a good few pumps on the hose going from the n75 to the actuator usually has it free!!

I used one of these with the hex bit in, it works a treat to get underneath!!

Cheers. I've got some bits and a socket handle like like but couldn't get enough space underneath to get it in.

Paid someone to clean out the EGR in the end as I was having other stuff done.
