Spent couple of hours on it earlier, there's now way those discs are going to fit :(
I measured up for the possibility of different brake bells but they would only make the calipers hit the wheel face and I can't space the wheels out enough to make it clear.

I've kind of lost interest now, might just run my standard set up until I save up for some R32 discs to run the porsche calipers on, it's a bloody shame as they would bolt straight on a normal Cupra just not a R :(

Thanks Anthony for pointing it out, glad I found out now.

On a brighter note my other tyres turned up, read very good things about these.

Hey Adam,

A real shame to read that those massive discs won't fit. A real shame! Do you think you could sell them to fund some new ones? Hopefully you'll be able to find some 2-pieces to match the rears, rather than going for a stock one-piece.

A bit later than promised, here's a picture of the copper brake pipe that leads from the LCR caliper to the brake line. Measuring 10.5cms in length and an OD of 6mm by the looks of it.

Don't lose interest mate :)

Hi James. I've not really thought about it to be honest but I reckon I could sell them for a few quid as I think the discs and bells are close to 1k new :scary: I'm trying not to Fit R32 discs if I can help it.

Thanks very much for the picture. I have had some custom front and rear lines made that should be here any day now, the fronts may end up a bit long now but will be ok.

Did you manage to keep the old bracket that held the line to the caliper?

Ok cheers, when I was looking the other day I thought I would be able to use it. I've not got the 10cm hard pipe on my new ones just the 90degree connector like the HEL kit.

Ummm may have started on the interior to

They won't be staying this colour and they won't be done for a very long time but I had to have them :D

I also bought some S3 Recaro bases so I can make some exact fit subframes

I've always liked them, but the arches do ride higher than OEM, as Darren mentioned - same arch dimensions but flared out which gives it that higher look. If you like a lower look, then I wouldn't go this exact route - instead having the wider arches added on to your original wings as apposed direct replacements.

Not many have them, I'd go for it! ;)
