Cant see the whole car its just massive close ups. Id love the seats but thats about it.

A tdi badge on the side indicators!! The new Leon's are nice to drive, really nice, but i dont like the centre console atall, how are you supposed to put a different HU in there?

The little FR touches should have been in the Mk1, ie on the dials seats etc. WHY wern't they?

Those seats are identical to the Sports seats, just different fabric, still they are very comfortable !

Intresting that this unit is red lined at 6.5k - not bad for a diesel!!

Have I missed the joke? ;)

I'd presume the first dash pic is the diesel with the red line at 4750ish.

Is that the larger MFD on the diesel (with the fuel + temp gauges vertical)?

Yes that's the larger computer with the dials to the side, comes with the sat nav or bluetooth option.

I have to say I like the front bumper on the FR, but apart from that I'd be hard pushed to find anything else that's substantially different from my Sport, especially in black when the new rear bumper will become impossible to notice. Even the interior is just recovered with a few badges here & there, and I have to say I prefer the red/black cloth of the Sport myself (but then I would say that ;-)
The standard wheels are the same size, the brakes look an identical size and caliper, but I do like the front airdam, I wonder if the sport foglights will fit the FR bumper... :)

Looks good, but the rear windows dont appear to be as heavily tinted as my
T-FSI.

Durham, England.
I see theres Two different cars in them pics.
A petrol and a Deisel, with different radios, dashes and wheel sizes.

I think i will have to see this in the flesh before i decide if i like it or not,

I still think SEAT should offer a far wider colour choice too,
They have restricted it too much in there sporty models imho since about 1997

manual bonnet stay ...
lol, yer when I ordered mine I noticed some of those refinements have been removed.

1. The hydraulic bonnet lifts
2. The engine bay cover
3. The door trim lights
4. They couldn't be bothered to move the alarm led and hand-brake to the right side

Not exactly deal breakers but just nice touches to the mk1 that have gone awol on the mk2 :(
