Removing PD130 EGR valve for cleaning

Its a straight forward job if a little awkward.
The two bolts holding the pipe to the bottom of the egr will need to be removed before you can remove the bolts holding the egr to the intake.
other wise as above.
While you are there put a blanking plate with a 4mm hole in it to reduce the amount of gases going through the valve.

The original gaskets are metal and you reuse them!

Don't bother just rip the EGR out.

What do you archive by ripping the egr valve out ?

no sooty dirty exhaust gas going back into the intake, thus clogging it.

old thread ,, but reminds me to take mine off to clean , or better still fit my egr race pipe ive had for about 2/3 years sat in house
