thought i would put up a readers ride thread

this is my 8th car, 1st seat but had the same engined golf and also had the a3 and the TT with the 1.8t lump in so im not new to the vag style scene.

your eyes are gammy lol, they are in weird number plate holder things though

not too bad actually, wonder wheels is brillant stuff just a spray and then a whip round with a brush

yeh its stage 1 remap at 175bhp and 300 torque.

next month im hoping to get it in for a sach's clutch, decat and stage 2 remap before i start thinking intercooler and hybrid

how near southampton are you mate? i have a lot of family in salisbury and am about 40 mins from there

I was going for the bbs/bk look, but for £500 including tyres and 20mm spacers for the rear, I couldn't refuse

i would tell you but the company isnt liked on this forum due to legal threats or something, also because of your limited posts i cant pm you,

the company is the site sponsor for ecu remapping on the ************.

i payed £250 and went up to leicester for it, price included a full health check and before and after rolling road results, i cannot recommend the company enough, they are great,

it hasnt really effected my mpg, obviously its worse when you drive it hard but thats obvious, normal driving is no different

na those plans are old now,

i've decided its just staying as it is or its gonna cost too much money,

it does have HID's now though but thats it.

im happy just using my bike as the main toy, and as im buying a house with the mrs i need the cash to stay in savings

yeh previous owner was a nice guy, and you tell its been taken care of, it still looks brand new not 8 years old!, and as it was a 5hr drive to pick the car up his mum made me and my mate pizza's which sweetened the deal lol.

yeh its had loads of wheels. i still have his original build thread, the best ones he had were his last set which were the diamond faced TT wheels, they looked mint! but im on a budget unfortunately
