Yes. I've just finished fitting mine this morning and will be posting up full write-up with pictures in the next few days. Total time taken about 2 hours (or 5 hours if you include spraying the sensors to colour match).

There easy enough to fit the only scary bit is drilling holes through the bumper.

I'd recommend using a Q-Max punch to make the holes in the bumper - there's a lot less room for error than drilling and it creates a nice rounded edge to the hole.

Hi Guys,

I have a Leon SE and no parking sensors. After borrowing a car for 2 weeks that had them I am really missing them now im back in my Leon. Does anyone have any experience of retro fitting them? I found these guys online....seems like they can fit it to be as if its factory done...

I had Paul from Professional Retrofits (sorry - not enough posts to requote the URL!) retrofit rear sensors and a camera to our other car - a Scirocco - he did a great job. Beware some of the dealer fits as they generally aren't OEM - usually aftermarket with beeps only and no head unit integration....

A car has usually lost a lot of money from day one of purchase, even if you bought 'used' I would probably purchase Cobra sensors, as 'monopoly' and others have just written about on this forum., and then I'd waste my money in a different way.

I believe the total cost of an OEM retrofit to be nearer to £300 and more destructive in terms of removing trim etc. I also don't really understand the point in head unit integration.. If you're reversing, you should probably be looking behind you, not at the dash! ;-)

Jokes aside, that would definitely be a good option to have out the factory but it seems very few SE's (where it's not standard) did.

The cobra kits are great value and good quality. Even the buzzer noise has been "softened" to an OEM-style sound rather than some of the older or cheaper kits that make quite an angry noise.
