New owner of 2010 Seat Leon and have an annoying issue.

Not sure if doing something wrong as the manual is a tad confusion with regards selective unlocking.

Basically unlock the car with central locking fob, passenger/rear doors unlock but the drivers door doesn't unless I use the key.

Only had the car 2 days and it has opened a couple of times but mainly not.

Not sure if its something to do with the selective unlocking and we're being dumb or something faulty?

Its a common problem. The door lock module needs replacing

Thanks, after searching numerous forums I pretty much came to the same conclusion and spent ages last night trying various things which made no difference.

Interestingly if I try and enable Selective Unlock it doesn't actually work (all doors except drivers still unlock) and as it was night time I noticed that after locking the car the MFD continues to show the picture of the car for about 30 seconds which according to the manual means there is a fault with the central locking system.

Car came with a 3 month warranty so guess I'll phone the dealer this morning!

Thanks again for confirming suspicion.

I started having the same issues a few days ago on my drivers door. So i need to replace the entire door opening mechanism inside the door?

Always had this problem on my rear drivers side door, luckily I don't have any friends so no-one ever uses it!

While i'm here, would this be the cause of my interior lights never turning off unless I switch them off? If so it may be time to repair.
