  1. Great car - but one shocking problem

I've had my FR CR Tdi for 6 months now, covered 8,500 miles and think its probably the best car I've had. Unfortunately, I'm about to change jobs so the car goes back next week:cry: I've no idea what the car scheme is for the new job, or even if I'll get a choice, so will just have to wait...

Great brakes on Clio compared to Cupra!

On monday I had a prang on the way to work, hit up the bum on the roundabout so the car's in for repair and I have a gutless Clio courtesy car for a while till its fixed :( The difference in power compared to the Cupra is hilarious, but at least the rides much smoother to work for a while...

My day off today so looking forward to an easy morning. Waved the girlfriend off to work and the kids to school then jumped in the car down to the supermarket to do the shopping before it gets to busy. Shot around in record time and then back home. Then it went wrong as i could not open the...
  9. RobDon

    RobDon's Leon evolving.

Not wanting to clog up Jamie's thread with my stuff, I've decided to start my own thread. As you know, my ATP GT2X turbo has blown. Oil smoke belching out the exhaust, burning oil and a screeching sound when it comes on boost! So ... the turbo has to come off. I have decided to do it...

(Broken Car) I've had a great day today...

Or not... Basically, it wouldn't start. I rang Green Flag who diagnosed the problem as being the starter motor which had pulled off its mount. Apparently various things were in places they shouldn't have been and he couldn't rectify the problem there and then. Only when we moved the car...
  13. 5 year free AA cover - great!

I had a coil pack go a couple of weeks ago, manged to limp home on two cylinders and called the SEAT AA number. The AA man came out and replaced the coil pack for free! He said if they can replace something, they will and send the invoice direct to SEAT. The car is 4.5 years old so if I'd...

  15. How Seat could make the Altea great.

Having had the altea for a couple of years now. I have compiled a list of things that in my opinion would turn the Altea from a good family car to an excellent family car. General 1) Make the boot hold an umbrella type pushcar/golf clubs etc. The boot is too square so make more use of the...

  20. IPOD Kit IMHO not great

Not very impressed with the IPOD kit for two reasons. First it is a fiddle to get the IPOD in, I admit this is not helped as my wife has a nano and I have a video and the different size holders are screw in rather than adjusting. This is made harder firstly as the under seat location means you...
