Now that I am upgrading to a leon pd170 next week I think the 4.5L of oil that I bought a while ago for the 20vt engine in the out going ibiza will be no good. Can anyone confirm that this is the case? The oil in question is mobil 1 0w-40 and on a sticker is says VW 502.00 AND 505.00...

Guys, Popped into Asda last night, and had a look at the engine oil to see what they had on offer that I could use in the Cordy. They've got 1-litre bottles of Mobil1 - 5W50 in there for £5 a bottle. It says it's 'Rally Spec'..... would it be ok to use in the Cordy ?!? Cheers, Andy
