Am looking to fit a FMIC to my LC in the next week or two,am just wondering exactly what does this pancake pipe do? It looks like it restricts air flow to me,if so why ?

Just sorting out the the pipe, joiners and reducers for my FMIC install and want to confirm the size of the pancake and TB openings. Is the pancake 60mm or 63mm? If it is 60mm can someone confirm that the 64/65mmm silicon pipe will clamp up ok? Is the TB 76mm or 80mm?

Evening all I've managed to get a metal pancake pipe from a seat leon cupra 1.8t 180bhp model. Looking at pics on the Internet of it, it did look very restrictive, but now seeing it in person, it is actually like twice the size of my plastic pancake pipe. Now what do I need to do to fit this...

PD130 and PD150 Leon Pancake pipe. Does ANYONE know if these things are the same at either end? I don't care what goes on between them just that the entry and exit are in the same place.
