Wife just got an fr tdi at weekend. Great little car, she loves it already and can't wait to ditch the company ford focus. Only issue is high speed road noise from rear. Has anyone put sound proofing in theirs. What? Where?

I'v read up alot on the cars and i understand that that a certain pump makes alot of noise when the car is cold. Is it a slightly Diesel Tappety sound? I'v done a search but did not really find any answers to the type of noise it makes. Cheers Ken

recently purchased a lcr 225 but now and again mainly when the car has rested,there are some metal clunking sounds from either the steering or brakes when setting off slowly.very sort of notchy sounds.hard to explain but sounds odd.anyone else experienced anything similar?

Anyone wondering why their Mk4 Ibiza is so noisy... well it's because SEAT don't do sound deadening :whistle: Notice how there's no sound deadening on any of the panels. And they're all thin metal. :doh: Pete
