There is a red mk2 cupra I have been looking at and its cat d minor damage. Been in contact with the seller and they said the damage was to the the drivers front corner. Should I look into this more if so what should I do. Or should I just stay away?

My bonnet came crashing down last night whilst filling screenwash bottle the plastic sheared on the stay fitting on the crash panel.Taking it to dealer today so they can see it.Their was no wind etc it just sheared off under the weight of the bonnet. Be Aware!!
