ABS and Traction Control Light on-Damaged ABS sensor wire, How much?

The other day i decided to to turn the traction control off via the little button under the hand brake. i was speeding on abit then went round a roundabout quite sharpish, my ABS light then came on and wont go off and i cant turn the traction control back on.

is this a big problem or has a plug just come loose somewhere?

check the abs wheel sensors or maybe one of them mite be faulty get it on vag-com or a reader that should help

It will be a dodgy wire or bust sensor but as above you need vag com to determine which wheel its on

just took my front wheels off and found that the wire that runs down the drivers side shock is nealy brnt all the way throught, so im pretty sure thats the wire that goes to the ABS sensor, anyone know how much the wire is?
