Very often when I'm using the air-conditioner, the display switches itself off and then back on again. Every time this happens the AC itself gets switched off too. Occasionally it gets stuck in a loop, and I'm stuck without air-conditioning 
I took a video of it.
I spoke to the mechanic and he just assumed that the display needs to be replaced. Since it requires removal of the dashboard and costs $$$ I'd certainly like to be sure before I do this. Has anyone experienced this issue?
BTW this is my Ibiza 1.4 TSI FR 150 ...it's DSG not manual gearbox.
