Airbag Light!

hi all

so i took my glove box out to replace the air recirculation motor and my airbag light on my instrument panel came on but also the light on my centre console.

i got a srs scanner and cleared codes even tho none showed up, the instrument panel went off but the centre console goes off then comes back on after about 5 seconds

please help

You might need a fully VW Group compliant scan tool to clear some/all SRS faults - that is just a thought, not a fact, as I'd never ever disconnect an airbag associated lead without first removing a battery terminal etc.

If the centre console led came on, is it possible that you turned the airbag disable key?
