Hi Guest There will be essential maintenance on the server on Monday 10th November from 5am meaning the website will be offline for a period of time. We will do everything to ensure the downtime is kept to a minimum.
I have an 67 plate SEAT Arona 1.0 TSI XCELLENCE First Edition with this problem. Booked dealer investigation but two weeks earliest. Please does anybody know:
a) what alarm door/bonnet sensors look like or are situated
b) if I took out the central locking fuse, I could still key lock the car.
Normally it's an open window.... The battery loosing charge can do it since they are set up to monitor variations in the battery voltage. So a duff battery could be the issue. Wind vibration is another one. A lorry going past rocks the car. You could try out the ferry crossing one I use sometimes. Reading my notes, two clicks on the lock button of the remote. It is in the Arona manual. May work and be a temporary fix until you get it sorted out. Under deactivation.
