Anyone tried Roof Bars????

ROOF BARS lol
a mate of mine sugguested to try roof bars on my cupra!
so i thought what the heck and got on the phone to mount blanc and told them my work ~(MCR the motorist centre!) was going to demo them on a open day lol and they ent me a set free of charge lol WICKED!
so heres the pics

thought id throw my trials bike ive just build on top too

went down the a45 with it on top

whats everyone think? thinking of painting the bike the same as the car and getting a colour sheme on the go!

I think you need rear spacers...and i want your wheels love the keskin's.

Oh the roof bars...They dont look to bad i spose but what was the point of it

Fair play for blagging them though and trying something different. As above, get some rear spacers to help the stance

I've got myself a set so there proper cool, only got them for transporting my bike like yourself.

yeah like wise alot better than the high level rear mounted ones that scratches th boot and spoiler

My mate had roof bars on his 1.4 mk3 to mainy people are going down the arrr im euro i got roof bars loook now tho

think this looks brilliant, i have a gas gas 250 trials bike, do u think they would be strong enough to hold that? really looking into a set, YES for the euro look but also just cos i would be cool to be able to take the cupra up to the track then just off load the gas gas

ps so did u bluff and get them for free in the end?

Not sure if the bars would be sterong enough for the gas gas, would you be able to lift it up there aswell?

Would look awesome with it on there though got to admit!
