I'm happy to say I'm back in a Leon. Had one a couple of years ago and regretted selling it, bought a Skoda Octavia Vrs with was a decent car but lacked some of the build quality compared to the Leon.
Picked up a Leon Cupra TDI 54 reg 70k miles in black, last night and it seems to be running well. There was some smoke from the exhaust at first driving home but gave it a long rev on the drive and it seems to have cleared up. Think it was probably a build up of diesel particles. Going to take it on the motorway today for another clear out.
Couple of things need doing, the TCS button is missing but the wiring is still there so just need a button, Oil and filter and coolant change to be done.
Overall I'm happy with the car, love the huge amounts of torque making it a bit more a refined lazy drive than the Skoda and also 45-50mpg instead of 32mpg
