Bonnet adjustment

Just noticed on my cupra the front left edge is every so slightly lower than the tip of the o/s wing (1/4")

I'm pretty sure the bonnet hasn't been off, the paint around and on the bolts looks untouched and there's no indication the cars been bumped at the front. Lines up all the way along the side edges with each wing, presume it left the factory like this.

I see the bolts slide in the hinge (if they were loosened) to adjust it, is it worth doing or am I just being a fussy git?

Try this

Open the bonnet and look up at it at the offending corner!
Black rubber bump stop thing......
uncrew it and keep doing so until the bonnet and wing line up


Just realised its an Ibiza.........never had one......bump stops may be on slam panel

I couldn't work out why the front o/s edge didn't line up when everything else did

My bonnet hasn't been right since i got it, just noticed that i don't even have a stopper on the drivers side of the bonnet! Anyone know the part number for the little rubber bung stopper thing?
