Bosch Spark Plugs

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has tried / or used Bosch Super 4 Spark Plugs in their Leon 20VT??

Ive been told to go for Bosch by the guys who re-mapped my car as NGK are very standard!

Any info people??

Yeh there good plugs, used them before, but spark plugs are spark plugs at the end of the day and wont really affect power output.

I would have thought the standard Platnium ones are plenty good enough?

Tried both, cant see a diffrence tbh, as said plugs are plugs, the oem plugs are for the long life service intervals, hence platinum, just super4's will have to be changed at standard intervals.

lower temp plugs work well on mapped cars.. bk7re for me.

Sorry but i cant see the point in a 4 prong plug as how many ways will a spark travel, only 1 so just go for the original iridiums in either the NGK or Denso.

i bought some super 4's and then decided against it, way i look at it is,

On a standard plug the spark has one pre-determined route, on super 4's it has numerous, if you look at the electrode on a standard plug, you'll notice both tips are clean, purely down to the crack of the spark being in the same place everytime,

actually, Now Im going to put the super 4's in to see what they're like, run for a couple of months and inspect to see what state they're in

I've just put Super 4's in, seem ok to me but as said, a plug is a plug so I'll try NGK Iridiums next
