Hi guys wondering if anyone can help as I’m going out of my mind. The k1 (CDL) has developed a bottom end rattle over the last few months, so things I’ve done so far - cam chain and tensioner, balance shaft delete and new pick up pipe, new cambelt + waterpump plus pulleys. It only does it when warm and it’s between 1.6k-2.2k rpm. I’ve taken it to three different places who all say they’re different things, one said balance shaft unit even though I’ve done a balance shaft delete. One said bottom end bearing shells and one said “it’s probably nothing” but no one can give me a definitive answer. Car drives great (even though it’s been parked up for two weeks) no faults when scanned and when I pulled the sump for the balance shaft delete the oil was clean, pick up pipe was clean and oil filter which I cut open was clean
