Been on the forum for a good few months now and never got round to making one of these, so here we go...

Car is a MK4 Candy White FR PD130. Stage 1 remap done before I bought it, running around 170bhp and averaging between 55-65mpg!

First things first, change the awful headlight bulbs... Bought some 6K HIDs. Looks so much better!
There was also some yellow tint on the fogs which I removed. Hate that stuff.

Also fitted some very bright LEDs to the rear number plate, which I'll upload a pic of when it's dark!

De-badged next. Poor picture that was actually taken to take the p*ss out of my parking! I have no up to date pictures.

That's all for now, but my list is;

- Private Reg Plate - S19 AEH (D.O.B & initials) only £250!
- Coilovers or lowering springs & shocks 40-50mm (undecided)
- 20mm spacers at the back
- Wind Deflectors
- Remove decals
- Spray door strips white
- Tint windows and rear lights
- Spray all grey parts of the car black (Rear bumper, grilles etc.)
- Wrap/spray door handles black
- Wrap roof & spoiler black
- MK5 FR Steering wheel
- Cupra handbrake and gearstick covers
- LCR splitter
- Mufflerectomy or Powerflow straight through (also undecided, thoughts appreciated)
- PD160 intake
- Cone filter for that extra sound (opinions also welcome)
- Large brakes, probably TT (?) and sprayed calipers (Red?)

Unlikely but hopefully;

- Cruise control
- Parking sensors
- Rear view camera
- White Rota Grids(?)

Any other recommendations welcome and appreciated! More pics to come!

I like, very much. No doubt you've seen the sensors and rear view camera on mine! There's also a guy on here that's retrofitted cruise for around £100.

Can't go wrong with TT brakes, they're a good upgrade and IMO look much better as well. The Cupra brakes are even better, but hard to come by.

I think I would go with silver wheels and red calipers, I'm not a huge fan of white on white.

Also, stubby aerial!

Another white mk4

If you are going to spray side strips white id maybe leave the door handles white. Saying that, i have the opposite... gloss black side strips and white handles

You should also do the wheel centre caps in black

I absolutely love your car! It's exactly how I want mine, apart from the side strips white!

I'm not a very handy person. Total noob when it comes to doing it all myself. Really need to find someone who can do all this sh*t for me for some cash! Garages are too expensive...

Same here. I'd love to be able to do everything myself but most of the stuff that's been done has been at a garage or similar.

Spacers and wind deflectors are a piece of piss though.

Taking the airbox out to put a cone filter on is pretty easy as well. Few bolts to take out and a jubilee clip to put on. The guides on here are quite good.

Had a decent clean today and took my vinyl strips off... Looks so much better without them! (They were on when I bought the car)
