In standard form you can get reasonable mpg out of it on a run(40-45ish), around town you'll probably see high 20's-low 30's. I think on a stage 1 you'll up that slightly, on a stage 2 like this you lose about 3-4mpg on standard, so I can get 40mpg on the motorway if I drive like a saint, and mid to high 30's if I'm sat around 70-80.

That's not bad at all! I'd say that's better mpg than I'm getting in my 1.2 lol!

I was thinking of a FR tdi, but I don't really do the miles to warrant buying a diesel. Plus insurance will only be a couple of hundred more for the 1.8t.

Thanks for the info mate :)

I got myself an APR R1 diverter recently for a good price :)

Was dark when it went on last night (Man points please guys), but here's some quick pics from just now:

Drives nicely, a lot more 'stealth', a lot smoother on throttle up/release of boost than the Split-R.

I know my bay needs a good clean up, will be replacing a lot more of the hoses with the red vac hose soon.

It's a diverter valve, basically what releases turbo pressure when you let off throttle, to stop the turbo stalling. The faster they respond the better.

I've been so tardy in doing them...I got the new badges soon after getting the car *looks down in shame* haha

But I may well go down a similar route with some gloss black wrap on the pillars.

Well, good news today. Finally heard back about the pothole damage to my OZ wheels, I'm being paid out and should have the cheque later this week. Sooo, they'll be off for a full refurb soon :)

Ahhh got ya, I've added you now Rob :)

I can certainly do it for you.

Al, yeah, be good to get them sorted and on for the shows...luckily now both sets of wheels have decent tyres on them so I'll use these cheapie RS wheels as my winter set.
