I've been looking for at some leons through dealerships, they range between 40-46k CHF but it seems most of them have the standard cupra brakes, the ones using brembos go for 7-10k CHF more, are the brembos really worth it? I won't track the car but i do enjoy driving "fast" when possible, would i be fine with standard brakes?

On many of the VW group cars I'd say no, on the latest Cupra Leon? I'd say yes, don't get me wrong there's ample braking power but the travel is too long and the feedback too spongey. Can't say I ever really tested the brakes to their potential but they wasn't confidence inspiring..

I went with the standard brakes anyway, brembos can't be worth paying around 7-8k more in my case
