Hey folks, would really appreciate a quick reply on this one as about to order some in before the week ends when my car is going into the tuners

First off, this pic is off Mr D's car (tell me if you want me to remove it)

I have circled in white the pipes I would like to know the sizes of.

26091b8a.jpg

1) Secondary air intake pipe size ? -

2) LOWER (bottom pipe) coolant bottle pipe size (I know upper is 8mm)

3) Pipe going onto manifold (in that pic it has DV relocation, but I just mean the huge pipe heading onto that)

4) The pipe going into boost pipe.

Really appreciate this folks, it will also help others im sure in the future who look for these pipe sizes.

(If it's already been listed - please feel free to slap me - but no ticking ;))

Would no 2 also be 63mm? ( I am assuming no 2 is from the charge pipe?)

And BTW - What is no 1 pipe for? Not sure what the black box on the left is

Why done you just remove them and measure them?

I would but I needed to order the pipes before Friday and have no time between now and then to take them off to check, to be honest, now it's only the lower coolant one I need as the rest im not in such a rush for (and might be getting FMIC).

The old thread that Myki posted about his charge pipe setup is very useful if you "search". I've just had a look at it and it appears that a straight silicone length would replace all that horrid black plastic crap between the link to a fmic and the chrome boost pipe. Anyone got any reason why this wouldn't work? cos if not, i'm going to try it this weekend.

YEA THATS RIGHT EVERYONE... SEARCH!!! USE THE SEARCH!

IF I'D HAVE DONE THAT... LOOK WHAT I'D FIND!

PHILW - POSTED;

Engine Bay Hoses

Normally replaced by silicone hoses

Vacuum hoses - 3 or 4mm ID - personal preference
DV Connection - 25mm on both sides
PCV pipe work - 19mm
Elbow off side of manifold to brake servo - 90degree 12mm (check)
MAF elbow - 45degree 70mm elbow
Crankcase breather elbow - 90 degree 19mm
Majority of coolant lines are 19mm
Top header tank connection 8mm
Lower Header tank - 15mm (check)
N75 connections - 8mm

funny thing is that if you type throttle to intercooler then you find out that one as well.

then charge pipe to intercooler same thing

don;t worry you'll get the hang of it. but maybe wanna do do something about the attitude

Reading my post I suppose it does come across wrong unless it's read the way I intended, but thats always harder on a forum

Im having trouble finding 15mm pipe, so im gonna go for a 16mm hose and see if it fits, will keep everyone updated if it works.

Thanks again

Funny you should say that... I ordered some braided hoses! But im paranoid! Im scared that they might come off or split - wondering if I should just leave the standard ones on :(
