Mine passed without a cat on Monday. Seat dealer said all cars since *whenever it was* must have a cat for the test and if it was missing it was a fail. So I took it to a local independant and it went through.
Does the new european law adopted by the uk which says you must replace cats and dpfs with type marked units make any diffrence to the decat situation on diesels? Or does this only apply when you fit a cat/dpf rather than decat?
Fair enough. I know you didnt need one last year as i had a decat on my 306 which passed mot last November. I was just curious about this year. What about having a decat in France? I plan on taking it over to france either this year or next year and just worried if i got pulled up by poilce and they realise theres no cat on the car. Cheers.
