Enabling Easy Entry

Hello,

Did anyone successfully enable Easy Entry for the Formentor? My wife scratched the steering wheel three times in a single week and I hate that the Formentor has electric adjustable seats but no easy entry.

please also remember it doesn’t have illuminated heater controls

Indeed, but those aren't present on any MQB Evo/MIB3 car either, while Easy Entry is a feature on some of them.

And for the uninitiated, what does easy entry do on a Formentor?

The driver's chair automatically goes back when you open the door, and comes back in the previous position once you close the door.
So it make it easier for the driver to get into the car if he/she/it( ) has bigger "proportions" or if a short(ish) driver uses a driving position with the chair "under" the steering wheel...

Glad you explained this as I wondered what it did, but didn't want to appear stupid by asking.

If only it moved the 'B pillar back 4 to 6 inches.

Or if you're listening CUPRA

Make a 3 Door Coupe Formentor then the pillar would be out of my way when getting in and out or at oblique junctions.
