Engine Code

Hello everyone,

I was recently searching the net for more information about my engine in my Leon FR ST. It's a 1.4l 125hp engine with manual gearbox.

Seems I can't find anything about my engine with the code provided, Engine CZCA doesn't excist.... Strange?

Anyone with tips? Anyone knows why I don't find any info? Anyone with the same engine code?

The old EA111 had a couple of 1.4 versions, a twin charger and then a turbo 90kW (123hp) version.

That was back in 2007!
According to Wikipedia (yes I know it is not reliable), cross reference the engine list on the Leon page with the list of vw group tsi engines. To me, it appears it could be the CAXC.

The newer EA211 1.4 is 103kW (140hp).

D33 is the option code for the engine. My searches so far only turn up one reference, here (search in the page for D33, or better, CZCA). There are two references, here and here. 1.4 litre engine, 90 or 92 kW.

The engine code looks like it is correct at CZCA, and it is a 2013-present day engine. This is a Belgian car, by the way (option code X2A) which may account for its rarity.
