Exterior door handles replacing

I'm buying a set of replacement handles for the exterior to colour code. Just wondering how easy are they to remove and replace?

Very easy! Open the door, look on the end of the door and you will see a torx screw (possibly behind a rubber grommet.) Undo this - but not all the way and pull on the lock block whilst you're doing this. The lock block should come all the way out. Then pull the handle towards the back of the door (in the space where the lock block used to be) and then pull the handle out of the door. Job done. Refit in opposite order!

thanks, just thought im going to have to remove the lock block that is on the car now won't I? otherwise i guess my key won't work in it?

nevermind ive just check that guide and answered my own question.

I suppose so yeh. I'm not sure with those blocks though if once you get them out, you can swap the lock bit over. You'll have to have a look when it's all out.
