Exterior door handles

Does any body know how to remove the exterior front door handles from a mk1 leon.

I've got the door stripped apart from this, i cannot see a way of unclipping it from the inside!

Any help would be great

have you taken the inner panel out too (the silver thing bolted to the door )

it would have to be there m8 ,

not sure about the door lock anything behind that ones its out , didnt notice when i delocked mine the other day

Managed it is the end, there is a star drive bolt in the back of the door (underneath a plastic cap) that you unscrew till the lock pops out a bit, then pull on the lock and turn the bolt. then unclip the wire to the lock (on handle next to hole for lock). The handle then pulls out and sideways and pops out.
