Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone who has done this can give location, or pictures of jacking points front and rear on the Formentor?

Searched the forum which brings up threads on all other Seat / Cupra models, but nothing specific to this model, and just want to be sure where they are on the Formy.

It's page 348 in the manual
Page 48?

That's for using the jack supplied with the car, just wondering if you would use the same point using a trolley jack with the disc shape? Will likey just buy an adapter pad for the jack

I’d think so, if you can see that there are 4 strengthen lengths of folded-welded sill, then why not try to fabricate bespoke adaptors to place on your trolley jack saddle maybe 150mm long, shaped to sit on either side of the strengthen area using the folded section only as a “locator” and fitting high density rubber on the contact surfaces.
In an ideal world you might need 4 different profiles to exactly suit each of the 4 positions.

Or, if that sounds like being too much bother, just buy a suitable slotted compliant adaptor and like others live with lifting on the folded-welded points.

I bought 4 rubber ice hockey pucks on Ebay, and cut grooves to fit on to the jack points and they worked a treat, A lot cheaper than buying slotted pads that will not be tailor made for your motor.

I only need to lift the car long enough to remove wheel, paint the rusted brake disc hub part, and put the wheel back on. Could have just done it with standard jack, but this will be easier and serve for future jobs, changing discs and pads etc.

Thanks for the comments folks.

Also, in Scotland, not Israel as the flag shows! :D

Oh, not the square things, for some reason, my mate thinks that I love them, unfortunately I don't.

Though, we did have a "tender" one included with our breakfast at a hotel in Gartmore - so maybe there are some good ones out there getting cooked correctly.
