Front Courtesy light bulb replacement?

Hi all,

Just noticed my front courtesy light isn't comming on when the doors are opened.. Looks like the bulb has gone as the rear light work fine and the front map lights are OK..

I've had a quick look but can't see any obvious way to get the light unit out to replace the bulb..

Has anyone out there managed to get the front courtesy lamp out??

Thanks Klaus... I've printed the pics off for future reference since I keep my cars for ten years plus .... and suspect I might have to change a bulb in that time.

Hi Tell ... same here (though I just store them on HD) ... ... and the fund is still growing ...

Especially as improving specifications of our 5P will result in lots of changes throughout the years, I'm glad to preserve those infos dealing with my early MY2006 Sporty.

Thanks for the information, looks like all you do is remove the lens and not the whole unit!

This happened to me also, fixed now....apparently there is a clip that can come loose - also, I believe, a known issue.
