I have a 2 year old Formentor VZ1
I filled the car up earlier, the nozzle clicked off as it does when the tank is full. As always I gave it a little shake and a second go and it clicked off again. It was already around 1/4 full and put approx £47 fuel in so, everything would suggest to me that I've filled the tank
The thing is, the sensor is showing well under 3/4 full with 230 mile range. By the time I got home (barely 5 minutes) it was up to 285.
Any ideas what this might be? Searching the forums doesnt turn up much for this specific issue
I guess it is possible that the fault was with the pump but if it was then that's definitely a first for me. I asked the garage and they could see that it had pumped the fuel.
It has it's service in 2 weeks time so I guess I can mention it then but keen to know if this is a known issue or if something else is the cause!
