Hi guys

Some help pls on my Leon dsg (2014).

Stopped at a set of lights and when I pressed the accelerator to move on the car would not respond in drive or reverse. No prior issues in the form of symptoms or dash lights. Moments after the issue the dash displayed "error: gearbox" sign. Fast forward 6 hrs later my tracking system send a power loss notification. Returned to the car to find it would not start.

Diagnostic by local garage identified a number of faults. Most are saying it's a mechatronic failure but not sure whether that would simultaneously cause battery drainage issues?

Faults attached. Any suggestions from anyone?

What is the age of your battery? poor batteries can cause some funky readings for sensors, and if one fo the sensors is the dsg oil pressure sensor the car will just shut itself off as it thinks there is a serious problem . Not saying that is what's happening here but its definitely worth a check.

or it could be the factors here

unfortunately that's one that could be a multitude of reasons.

What mileage is your car on and have you performed a DSG service lately? DSG fluid can slowly deplete over time, either via a very slight leak or evaporation, which can cause issues like this as it cannot function without sufficient fluid. Worth a check.

Hi did you get any resolution with your car ? This actually just happened to me tonight. As I pulled into work I tried to reverse, engine revved but no movement. Tried to drive forward nothing, ended up pushing the car into a parking spot. Engine management light on and whichever gear I select DPNPS all flashing, absolute nightmare.
