code read the car this weekend and got loads of codes, some being for door locks etc like normal lol as i need to replace the door locks for drivers side and passenger side but other than that im getting LOADS of codes for the O2 sensors and find it hard to believe that they are at fault ive checked fuse 43 and seems fine i have noticed the car goes through fuel pretty quick and want to get this rectified to see if that is the issue, the car is remapped but to my knowledge it still has the O2 sensors and maf sensor still mapped in.. i have posted a full scan below..

N112 MAPPED OUT!
N249 MAPPED OUT!

If the engine is "remapped" for more fuel ('cos it makes power!)
then won't the O2 sensors signal the engine management to take that fuel back out?
Has someone unplugged O2 sensors & bodged resistors to keep the mapped fuel in?

Door locks? Welcome to the club.

Nothing has been bodged or unplugged as it was remapped in my ownership lol so I know it can't be the map however the map has made me notice that it uses fuel like crazy obviously like you said more power = more fuel but I mean it drinks it where before it wasn't too bad, hopefully I find time to do some investigating today

why is it giving you codes for n112 and n249 if theyre mapped out? before mine were mapped out any code relating to them two would put the car in limp mode. whats your boost gauge reading?

Boost gauge reads 15-20psi I've heard I should resistor the N112 and the N249... as they play games with the adaptive fuel trim is that right? Have you installed resistors or left the things plugged in?

Have you tried deleting all the codes and then seeing what ones come back? If not, then that's what i would do, as some of those codes might be historic ones.

If they are all current faults, then it's hard to say. It could just be 2 dodgy sensors, or possibly the wiring is dodgy. You have to be careful with the wiring for the O2 sensors, as a short between the heater circuit and the data circuit can easily fry your ECU!

As for the N112 and N249 affecting the fuel trims, I'm not 100% sure tbh, i very much doubt it. The only way they could affect it, would be if they triggered a fault code that caused the ECU to run in open-loop mode, rather than closed-loop. Easy way to tell would be to look at your short term fuel trims when the engine is warm. If they are moving around then it's closed loop, if they are at zero then it's open loop.

hmm so its not in limp mode then. apparently resistors dont work from what ive read over the years of old forums, i kept my n249 but my SAI is unplugged and i dont get codes. n112 i believe id still plugged in also. soz i canny help ya
