How to Replace Brake Switch

I have a faulty brake switch, as reported by VAG-COM

Error was 16955 - Brake Switch (F) implausible signal.

can anyone help me by giving me some guidance on where to buy a new switch from (for a 53 Plate 110Bhp TDi Toledo) and how to fit it?

any help, pointers appreciated!
