Hi There, I have a 2015 ibiza cupra 1.4L. In the past my emission control light came on, after a while it went away and thought little of it. Recently its just re appeared and has come with a strange sound and a "limp mode" over 3k rpm, accompanied by a knocking noise for a couple seconds. Even when idling on startup, it just doesnt sound right at all. I do have a warranty as purchased from a Seat dealership however I dont know if this will be covered, Ive been told to get a check over at the nearest dealer but if its not covered then ill have to pay for the check. Anyone had a similar experience? Cheers.
