ive been looking on this forum since when i got the car in march for ideas and mods and yesterday i thought its time to actually sign up and start my own thread on here

got the car for a bargain £3340, it needed an few things which got sorted shortly after getting it

mods so far
alpine cde113bt
JL audio C5 comps in the front doors
Sound deadening in front door with silent coat
JL audio 400/1 amp in boot
rockford fosgate punch 500 amp (12 years old)
JL 15" sub (12 years old)
two lots of wiring kit
sound deaden in boot area and boot door card
stubby aerial (swapped with a 12 plste skoda rental car)
tdi engine cover
LED side lights on front
HID kit
pressed plates
de-badge rear

mods to come
JL audio C3 for rears (in the post)
more sound deadening (in the post)
remap
egr delete
lowering springs
a set of porsche rims either 928's,d90's or 17" twists

Maybe mods
momo team which was meant for my mk2 golf
new gear knob if its a easy swap
bonnet and front bumper respray because stone chips everywhere hence the high motorway mileage
miltek cat back
re-trim head lining

so when i got the car

the seat

pressed pates and detail

new cover

led interior bulb

led plate bulbs and de-badge

dials

head unit with ipod lead

amp install with led interior bulb

big boy sub

JL tweeter squeezed in to the pod

sound deadening and C5 install

side lights

HIDs. notice the poor golf in back

so i managed to finish the sound system in rear of the car and its quality, haven't heard anything better in anyone else's car. There's a few rattles in the front door which i need to sort out with some more deadening and new trim clips
