Hi All,
Posting this as wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue.
I have a 1.5 eTSI 2021 estate xlux DSG. Thursday night noticed car started shuddering / jerking with moderate acceleration. Car started fine. No issues at idle. Under light acceleration no issue. No start stop problems.
Took car out on a short run next day on Friday at lunch time and same issue. Went out again later at night and same issue. Stopped at lights about 0.5 mile from home and revved it up to 3500 in neutral. No smoke, misfires, or anything odd. Lights go green and car got up to 40 with moderate acceleration and issue gone?
Took car on A3 car gave it a foot to the floor from 30 to 70 and no issue? Tried decelerating and accelerating hard where I could and car fine.
Used car Saturday and Sunday to try and replicate issue but no problem.
Had car since June 21 and has 1800 on the clock. Never had a check engine light.
Car typically spends most of its winter life doing short cold town runs and rarely used as a result. Car never does more than 30 over winter usage. Wondering if the lack of usage and very cold weather has impact on electric motor used for acceleration on these models? Would be good to know if anyone else has experienced this? Thanks.
