Knocking from gearbox

Hi guys and girls,
I picked up my MK1 Leon cupra AUQ last week and have a knocking sound coming from what I think is the gearbox.
It stops when I engage the clutch, could this be a sign of a single mass flywheel or would you guys say this is a DM flywheel on its way out. Is there anyway to tell what I have without removing the box

You might be jumping to conclusions. Probably something simple like the gearbox mount

Hi mate I will look into this as it could be it's had the vac delete but they havent put resistor's in so waiting on them coming
