So I Finally got hold of a Mk3 Cupra

Once i had another years no claims under my belt. It Was time I Began hunting for a Mk3 Cupra. Ive Always wanted a Mk3 Cupra since the days of me owning a Mk3 1.4L Chill ,Which i made into a Cupra Replica.

However I didn't just want any Mk3 i wanted one that was rust free as well as been well maintained by some one who knew what they were doing. My price range was between £2750-£3500 this was depending on the quality of the car.

With a saved search made on eBay a few weeks later i had purchased my ideal Cupra. With the car being 2 hours 20 minutes away from me i couldn't free up the time to go see the car in person. I took the sellers word on the car and tried my luck in the auction. RISKY i Know

Luckily i won the Auction with 2 seconds to go my bid was confirmed

When i Went to collect the car the buyer didn't let me down it was just how he made out if not better.

Few Pictures of how the car was when i went to collect it :D

Once the car arrived at its new home it was time to get some legal plates on straight away. Also two tyres wear quite worn so new toyo proxys were ordered straight away

Anyhow once the plates and tyre were one it was time to give the car a good clean.

Sorry i have been away so haven't had chance to get round to replying

as far as the car goes i gave it a complete check other and the only thing i found wrong was a split inner cv boot , so last week i replaced it so all is well now .

whilst the car was in the air i cleaned under the car and completely re undersealed the vehicle , took some time but was worth it :D

You got much plans for it

Plans at the minute are only small

-Replace the Jetex filter with a brand new one as it has seen better days
-Invest in some Coilovers high end spec such as KW
-service the car in september
-X car Link with bluetooth
-Spray the headliner and sun visors black to match the interior

thats all for now i think
