Good evening all,

I'm thinking about getting my LCR 225 remapped at the minute and deciding whether to spend the money or save the money really.

I've been quoted £150 from a mate of a mate who runs a mobile remapping service, he normally charges £250 for a stage 1 so I'm getting it cheap.

Here's his website if you fancy a look

Now cheap isn't always cheerful but this is so tempting, I would love to spend the bucks on a proper session with dyno runs but with it being at least double the price I'm tempted..not gunna lie.

After all the horror stories of cars running awful after maps done here and there it's got me a little hesitant.

He's done quite a few cars with all the results on the twitter page, and he owns a nasty S15 silvia so I have no doubt he knows his stuff and has that 'car love'.

Here's the figures he's gave me for my 05 LCR 225 totally standard:
- Original Power (HP): 225
- Tuned Power (HP): 252
- Original Torque (NM): 280
- Tuned Torque (NM): 355
- Torque Increase 17%

What do you think, should I go for it for the sake of £150 or pay extra and get it done on a dyno?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Haha I thought it would look like that, tbh mate I've met the guy once round my mates when were chilling smoking lol.

I'm tempted to go to Badger5 but it's over near bristol which is quite far, and obviously this guy is just in Milton Keynes and I'm in Bedford.
