Interior Sprayed and other Mods

Mainly an interior update here, (usually the mods that don't cost as much :) ) so i decided to spray the interior panels a gloss black, Ive seen it done with a few peoples Leons on this forum and thought it looked really smart so decided to do the same, but I attempted to spray it myself, Didn't really release how much hassle and hard work it would be, But after several cans of primer paint and laqear I've got it the best its going to get. Im personally quite happy with the outcome, ill admit its not faultless but I'm not a professional sprayer. Anyway heres the process i went through and the outcome.

Removing the Interior Panels (Easiest bit!!!)

This is when I etched the plastic panels for the paint to key too

Priming the panels

One of the times it went wrong

All sprayed and in the car!

I then Glossed Wrapped the Interior Grab Handles

Before

After

In Car

I then Removed the clocks from the car and change the dials from the boring sport dials to cupra, i read that it was a nightmare to change the dials i.e code them etc so i took the dials apart and changed them all over and changed the needles.

in car

And finally I have changed the climate control backlit led's to white instead of red, really happy with outcome

Photos to come

Not sure yet matey, got it setup for Winter now with its splitter removed, ride height raised and engine & gearbox oil freshly swapped. Just waiting for the snow then I'll put my Winter wheels and tyres on too! ;)

Been toying with the idea of a 3071R too............

Kali I wouldn't even bother attempting it, it took me weeks and weeks to get it the way i wanted it, your best of getting a professional to do it.

Nice car mate, and I like the progress your making on it. Just what I would do.

I have a black fr so I'm using your car as ideas for mine.

What size brakes are in the sport I'm just wondering if there the same size as the fr. And was it hard changing the needles on the clocks? Did you use a fork?

Loving the car especially the interior would love the gloss black to match my dials cowled and dsg surround along with the white LEDs to match my dials but unless it was a really good price 3hrs drive is a bit far lol
