New Owner intending to build rapid track car

Hello all

Just bought my first Cupra R.

Going to be a track car to compete with my friends R26 F1 which will have 340bhp ish.

Car is pretty much standard apary from very quiet Milltek.

First on list.

New alternator
Oil and filter
Brake discs and pads
New door (dented beyond repair)
New front splitter
New side sill cover (pass side)
Cambelt water pump etc
And weight loss
Better tyres

I have come from Jap cars ranging from standard cars to 450hp MR2 and R32 gtrs.

I love the way this car handles so might not need to do anything major to suspension.

Car also needs some TLC as previous owner for 8 years used it as a family work horse.

Will post some photos later.


I will also be using the seach engine a lot so some old posts might crop up with newbie questions.
