I think the end conclusion is regardless of oil youve got an terminal problem which will be resolved by

A.engine rebuild
B.second hand engine
C.sell the car for spares/repairs and buy another
D.set it on fire and claim on insurance lol

This. Plus E. do the 1000km the mechanic suggested and see how it goes (which costs nothing). Failing that A or B because if it's failed a compression test on multiple cylinders, the piston rings have probably had it. But it does have a fair few miles on it. Not sure how much you'd get back from D LOL.

My bwj ko4 tfsi suffered oil consumption(400miles per 1litre) before rebuild , mileage was 79k when i got it

My bwa ko3 tfsi in my octavia vrs suffered oil consumption(600miles per 1litre)48k miles 1 prev owner full skoda history

My friends a3 tfsi you guessed it suffers with oil consumption

Vag quality is not where it used to be

The newer 2.0tdis are not as reliable as the older 1.9s

You'd happily buy a 1.8 20v t with 100k+ but a 2.0tfsi you'd steer clear

Guys I went to the dealer today to change the spark plugs as they requested below the photos. What do you think?
Is the engine burning oil?

Maybe it's just the angle of the photo. But that gap looks massive.

It doesn't look as if it's burning oil to me, the gap does look very wide and looks like the mixture is a bit on the lean side.
